Black's Law Dictionary defines an expert witness as;  "One who by reason of education or specialization possesses superior knowledge respecting a subject about which persons having no particular training are incapable of forming an accurate opinion or deducing correct conclusions."

Dr. Vaughn has over 20 years experience treating all domesticated and many exotic pets. While a Board Certified Expert in Bird Medicine, his caseload and expertise equip him well to serve as your expert witness for any domesticated or exotic animal.

A member of the American Veterinary Medical Legal Association and 13 years of service for the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association's Wellness Committee have given Dr. Vaughn the ability to gain insight into many case complaints.

 

Dr. Vaughn has consulted as an expert on malpractice cases from Texas to New York and is willing to travel to serve his clients. Dr. Vaughn has also served the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners as an investigator for purported malpractice claims before the Board.
